Bodhi | Sydney Child Photographer

A lot of you might remember Sourpuss and Smileyface that I photographed in 2010. On that morning their owner told us she’d just found out she was pregnant. Well, this absolutely gorgeous young man is what she made [with a little help from her husband]!

He wasn’t crazy keen on standing still so Dani blew some bubbles and he sat down and didn’t move for about ten minutes. He was mesmerised. He has the best expressions, doesn’t he?

When the bubbles stopped being so fascinating it was almost nap time so he took his favourite toy to the sofa to watch some Yo Gabba Gabba.

I think this boy needs an agent, don’t you reckon?

Meg - wowie! super wide eyes, he looks permanently surprised! hehe.
very cute kid and gorgeous photos :)

Happy Easter! | Sydney Dog Photographer

For some people Easter might be all about chocolate, but for me it’s about sticking silly rabbit things on my dogs heads and making them pose for photos! Happy Easter everyone. I hope you all have a nice relaxing break.

If you haven’t already, can you please vote for Bruno in the Jeep contest? If we win we’ll be selling the car and donating half the money to bull breed rescues. The other half will fund a personal project which will also raise money for rescue. It only takes two clicks, thanks!

Quidditch | Sydney rescue dog photographer

Quidditch is another Fetching Dogs rescue from Renbury Farm Animal Shelter. He’s not a huge fan of having his photo taken, but he still gave me some winning smiles to work with. Have you ever seen such a tongue?!

He’s an absolutely gorgeous boy that loves a cuddle. He’s got the Staffy chat thing going on too, I love it! He’s going to make some lucky person a really great pet. His profile is here if you want to share it > http://www.petrescue.com.au/view/152090

Happy 2nd birthday to Ruthless Leather!

Today marks our website‘s second birthday. If you’ve been a fan of ours for a while you might remember that last year we ran a week long birthday promotion. Well… we’re doing it again!!

Anyone that orders and pays for a collar from our website between noon on Monday 9th April and the same time the following Monday [16th April] will receive a complimentary 4ft leash with their order [worth $75 +GST].

Please feel free to share this on any forums or Facebook groups that you’re in.

Here are a couple of funny out-takes from the photo session. I told them not to eat the cake so they went into complete avoidance and couldn’t get far enough away from it!!

It got shared amongst the four dogs afterwards. Banana and peanut butter, yum!

Linda Neill - Happy Birthday Ruthless leather, wishing you continued success and many many more! Now I have to make the decision I have been struggling over for the last 6 months… which one to order for Digger dog?

Mel S - That first pic of Bruno is absolute GOLD!! There’s a photo competition somewhere just waiting to be won by that shot! :)

Serena - Happy 2nd Birthday! Love the photos!! (and the pupcake!)

Sam - Happy Birthday! Fantastic photos as usual and the first one of Bruno really is spectacular, I can imagine how difficult it was for the dogs to resist eating the cake. The last shot is beautiful, those sad eyes patiently waiting for the ok from Mum to eat.

Charlotte Reeves - Happy birthday Ruthless Leather!

Iona - Happy 2nd birthday! Looking forward to your updates for the coming years.

Ruthless Leather update #16 | strong leather dog collars

Welcome to our first update of 2012! Our Giving Away + Giving Back promotion was a huge success and we’ve been flat out here. When we came up with the idea we hoped that it would be more than just good promotion for us, so when an entrant pulled out of the running because their foster dog had been adopted by someone that saw him on our page we were absolutely thrilled. Tiny, the winner from Wodonga Dog Rescue, has also been adopted – warm fuzzies all around! Below are the two collars AJ ordered. A wide Asteroid Belt training collar in black and aged bress for her Malamute [plus a three-way leash that she paid extra for] and a wide burgundy and brass Decoder training collar for Tiny.

Since our last update we’ve had lots of people looking to add bling to their orders. Below is Vicki’s Urban Cowboy that she ordered for her stunning border collie cross, Bo. The Swarovski’s match his striking blue eyes. You can see his photo and her lovely testimonial here.

The Sweetheart with bling is a real crowd pleaser too!

Dave’s been kept busy with custom orders. This was a leash for Porschea the Dobermann to go with the Trixiedog she got last year.

Gorgeous George [an ex Staffy Rescue dog, like three of ours] will be owning the streets of Bondi in his new Jolly Roger collar and matching leash.

Never let it be said that we’re all about the big dogs – this stunning Trixiedog sighthound collar was made for a Whippet from the Blue Mountains. Usually the screw heads are on the outside, but the owner asked for them to be the opposite way around on his.

Looking for a bargain?
This regular burgundy and silver Asteroid Belt with a nameplate is looking for a loving home [there was a clerical error and Dave made a second one by mistake]. It’s made to fit a 37cm neck. To order this collar from our website would cost $190 +GST + s&h, but one lucky Australian resident can have it for $165 including postage. First come, first served. There’s only one. [If anyone from overseas is interested they'll need to pay extra for shipping.]
