Jackson pt2 | Sydney Dog Photographer

Back in February I introduced you to Jackson. I regularly post photos of him on Facebook. I bring him to pet events with his “adopt me” vest on. He’s been featured on the Puppy Tales blog. Everyone who meets him loves him and lots of people wish they could give him a home but their current circumstances won’t allow it. Despite my best efforts to promote him, three months later he still hasn’t had so much as a meet and greet. We have no idea why, he’s such a great dog!

So, while he’s waiting, here are some more photos of his handsome face.

A few weeks ago Trixie celebrated her 7th “birthday”. This was the hardest photo shoot Jackson’s ever had to partake in. He didn’t understand how there could be five yummy treats in front of him but he wasn’t allowed to gobble them up. He managed to get through it but the look on his face remained utterly pathetic throughout, God love him!

It’s Jackson’s 2nd birthday on 15 June [which is the same day as the Fetching Dogs Trivia Night, buy a ticket!] and we’d really love for him to get to celebrate it with his new family, so please share his profile far and wide > http://www.fetchingdogs.com.au/dogs/jackson/

Ruth[less] - I emailed you Simon

Ruth O'Leary - He’d probably try to get them to play with him!

Ruth O'Leary - And if we didn’t already have four dogs we’d absolutely keep him. Four is our limit.

Sonya Slyer - we are going to Sth Africa…. one week and we are on our way…yippppeeeee

Sonya Slyer - hi Heather!!!! WE hve to catch up…it’s been way tooo long!!! Saw my gorgeous girls today so life is good xoxoxoxox

Angela Tyler - So sad Ruth, that makes me cry :( I think he wants to stay with you!

Chris Ditton - I would love to give him a forever home! But I live in Victoria and couldn’t take the chance of the BSL laws and quality of life would be compromised

Jacqui Slyer - Too cute mum.. I think he would love the farm xx

Dina Solomonides - He’s adorable!

Heather MacMillan - Have a great holiday.

Sonya Slyer - love him… we are having a holiday for the first time in 14 years… we just had to put our beautiful old dog to sleep and I am grieving… maybe if he is still around when we get back we should meet and greet him! wonder what he would be like with our calves!

Simon - I would be interested in adopting him, can you contact me via my email so I can ask a few questions on his personality please?
Thanks! :)

Prudence Ratcliffe - I wish I could take this little guy. What a sweety

Adopt me 04.13 | Sydney Dog Photographer

I’ve done HEAPS of rescue shoots since I blogged Viking and Legend [who've already been adopted, yay!], so I’m going to put them all here into one great big gallery. Some have already found homes, but you can enjoy their pretty pictures anyway. All of the dogs are from either Fetching Dogs or Arctic Breed Rescue. The token cat, Tardis, is from the shiny and new Fetching Cats – go and like their page you crazy cat people!

RIP Taffy | Sydney Dog Photographer

Unfortunately the purpose of this session wasn’t to get photos for Taffy’s Arctic Breed Rescue adoption profile, they are photos to remember her by. When she was taken to the vet to have that massive tumour on her chest removed it was found that her internal organs were riddled with cancer and she was only given days to live. She was given her wings not long after these photos were taken. Thank you ABR for showing her the love and care she deserved in her final weeks. Run free sweet lady.

Anna Karas - I came on here to read the update on the dobe puppies…. I didn’t realise you’d put Taffy up on the blog and now I’m bawling my eyes out again. Thank you, so much, for giving me these precious photos to remember her by. xxx

Vampress Kat - So Sad, to extinguish the light in those eyes. Thankfully she couldn’t have been in better care, and your photos are just beautiful Ruth :)

Viking and Legend | Sydney Dog Photographer

Viking and Legend are two more Fetching Dogs rescues that are being fostered together. They came from the same pound, but they’re not thought to be related. I guess they just breed ‘em with big ears ’round those parts!

And because some outtakes just have to be shared…

If you know of anyone looking to adopt a young dog please share this post with them.

Skye Schafer - Great Photo’s! I love the outtake one its awesome!

Munster and Bungee – Fetching Puppies

If you follow me on Facebook you’ll appreciate why it’s been quiet on my blog for the last few weeks. I’ve kind of had my hands full with these two ratbags – Munster and Bungee*. We’re fostering them for Fetching Dogs. We’re also fostering Jackson. It’s quite a lot to take on while trying to run three businesses, so my blog got neglected. To make up for it, here are way too many puppy photos!

If you received this post via email please click on the heading to view the gallery in your browser – it’s much prettier. Click on the main photo to open the lightbox and then use your left and right arrow keys to scroll back and forward.

* Disclaimer: They’re not my full hands in the photo!!

Sam Ermer - Such cuties and what gorgeous photos, I’d be spending all my time with them if they were here, even though puppies can be hard work the delight they bring makes it all worthwhile.

Mary McDade - Adorable……will certainly miss them and their antics.

Lesley Roach - I want to watch them grow Miss Ruthless

Bunch We Lunch With Photography - ugh…i just cant even take this awesomeness! love love love.
