Last week I won a Tigrabbit from Fetching Dogs just by liking their Facebook page. I gave it to Chopper cause I knew he’d get more fun out of it than I would. It will have to be supervised fun though if Tigrabbit wants to make it past Easter, Chopper plays kinda rough!

Fetching Dogs are a support and fund-raising group for Sydney Pet Rescue & Adoption. Proceeds from all products sold go directly back into rescuing and rehoming animals from pounds in NSW. We like that.

I already have one of these bad boys and one of these and another smaller one that I can’t find on their website, but I didn’t have anything funky. I heard about PorteenGear on Etsy and I had to have one. The bags are customiseable – I chose the patterned fabric, the colour leather, the colour canvas, the internal fabric and the strap. They’re handmade to order so now I fully empathise with everyone who orders from Ruthless Leather and has to wait 3-4wks for their goods. Patience is a virtue!

I was reluctant to fork out big bucks for another one, but every time I turned my back the wretched Staffys pulled the stuffing out of it and it was breaking my heart! I stumbled across Molly Mutt on Facebook. They sell covers for dog beds in really hip fabrics which are 100% cotton and pre-shrunk. It was the prefect solution as the bed didn’t need to be thrown out altogether, it just needed a new cover. They also sell a “stuff sack” so you can make your own bed using old towels, pillows, clothes, etc.! Such a great idea.

Here’s three of ours modeling it. Ivan doesn’t like to fraternise with the riff-raff. He was nearby though, waiting for some photo session treats!
