Oscar’s Law Rally | Sydney Dog Photographer

Yesterday there were Oscar’s Law rallies in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide. If you don’t know what Oscar’s Law is, please do yourself a favour and visit their website > www.oscarslaw.org

I photographed the Sydney rally where there was an amazing turnout of people and amazingly well behaved dogs. The setting was Belmore Park in the CBD. It’s a photographer’s dream with all the shade and textures and flowers! Here are some of my favourites from the day.

flowers delivered sydney - That is so cute, super cute doggies..

Fundraiser raffle for Petey

Some of you might remember me posting about Petey, Stella’s doppelganger that I named after my Dad. He’s been in foster care with Puppy Love Rescue up the coast for several weeks where he was receiving great care and socialisation. He had a home lined up and was due to start his trial on Saturday. Unfortunately tragedy struck when an unidentified roaming dog got into his carer’s yard when there was no one home and mauled Petey. He was rushed straight to the Green Cross Vets at Tuggerah where he made an epic fight for his life. He was released last night and he’s come to our house to recuperate. His drains have been removed, but there’s significant damage to his front leg that may require further surgery. He also has a tear in his windpipe which could require costly specialist treatment.

His vet bills are already over $1,500 and may at least double before he wins this fight. Puppy Love Rescue could really use some help with all these costs so I’m holding a fundraiser. Huge thanks to Happy Paws Training Treats for their generous donation of second and third prize. These are the 100% natural treats that I use on all my photo shoots. We also use them at home for training our own dogs. I’ve yet to meet a dog that doesn’t go crazy for them!
