You’ll never pee alone

No point trying to avoid it.

If you’re going to the toilet around these parts you’ll be doing it with an audience.

It’s as simple as that!

Andrea - What a great photo…
We would still love you to photograph Bean….problem is, can not trust her off lead….she tends to forget her name! Maybe a home visit would be the go??
Maybe in the NY? Would love you to catch up with her again too.
If it's here, maybe we can fit in a few wines too???
Andrea

Ruth[less] - Sounds good :) Home visits are my preference anyway, as long as there's plenty of natural light. Parks are too distracting. Gimme a shout in the NY? x

Fevah - Are there any three more gorgeous dogs in the world? *sigh*

Ruth[less] - Hell no! :D

Janet Palmer - I hope you have this one printed BIG :)

Ruth[less] - I have not a single one of my photos printed :o

minta - lol…i have the same issue here….with 5 miniature ones that surround you when you sit down….they think…oh look! a captive audience…u MUST be sitting down so i can either jump up in your lap & get luv’d on?…or you want to pet pet pet me…..=)

[no] Angel

I bought this silly halo thing for Angel a few Christmases ago but she refused to wear it. I guess she’s mellowed with age cause she was kind of cooperative this morning while I subjected her to wearing it! I won’t lie, she’s no Chopper when it comes to modeling, but even though she doesn’t take direction well, she makes me laugh every time she gives up and just rolls over for a tummy rub!!

Angel’s had two seizures in the last week. She’s never had anything serious wrong with her before. She’s always been a bit kooky and obsessive compulsive, but these episodes were definitely not put on for attention! She’s off to the vets today, hopefully whatever’s causing them is manageable.

On a happier note, after six months of heartache and stress my website is finally finished, yay!

Kim - I love the hint of little pink tongue sticking out!
(Well I guess I would, wouldn't I??)
Poor Angel, hope she's okay, she's my – don't tell the other
3 – favourite.

Ruth[less] - They don't call ya durty Kim for nuthin', eh?!

Just back from the vets. He said half seizures aren't all that uncommon and if she was having them once a month he probably wouldn't treat it. He took bloods, so we'll have to wait for the results of them to know what happens next. I'm not as worried anymore :)

Paws on the Run - The website looks awesome! Crisp and clean.

I'm glad the news at the vet was good.

Simon - My Lapphund had 2 seizures in short succession a couple of years ago – it was put down to too much protein in his diet – we changed the diet and he's been fine since

It’s the little things

Angel has so many little quirks, she’s just so stinkin’ cute!

When I take her for a game of fetch in the park and it’s a bit hot out she has this ritual that she thinks is the best fun in the world! In between each throw she likes to run over to the water bowl, dunk the ball in it and then dig up the water and lie down with her foot in it.

It always makes me smile … even if she’s run from the total opposite end of the park to do it with me yelling at her to come back! I swear there’s been times when she’s looked over her shoulder and laughed at me!

And this is her little foot lift, ears pricked thing she does when she’s waiting for me to throw the ball:)

It’s adorable, but I’d better not take too long or she’ll jump 5ft in the air and grab it from me, which isn’t too funny when she’s all wet and muddy from digging up the water bowl!!

Nelli - Awh that is way to cute! She is so adorable /Nelli

Happy Happy Joy Joy

I’ve a lot to be happy about this week:)

- I’ve been nominated as Best Dog Photographer or Artist in the MDBA Dog Owners Choice Awards;

- My Ruthless Photos website is nearly finished after several months of heartache;

- My pink fluffy blanket has been put into storage, cause Summer is finally here;

And, probably the most exciting thing that’s happened this week …

- I’ve just discovered that Angel will smile for the camera if she can do it from the comfort of her paddling pool!!

DancingShiba - CONGRATULATIONS! Well deserved!

Ruth[less] - Thanks!!

Not dogs!

On Monday I dug out my passport, bundled my navigator and husband into the car and headed North! I wanted to photograph some cats and kids for my portfolio and I knew Dru had both, so off we went.

After some tea and cake [nom, nom!] Gracie showed us her ultra swanky cubby house and her bedroom …

… before roping Dave into a game of hide and seek while I took some photos of the cats!

Neville lurrrved attention and would’ve made a great model, but he’s got a bit of an eye infection, so we decided to save his moment in the spotlight for another day.

Wayne’s still only a kitten, but he was great. I’ve never worked with cats before. He was patient and let me dangle food and ribbon in front of his face for ages till I got the shots I wanted!

Gertie wanted in on the action too:)

When I went back outside Gracie was still running around with Dave!

Of course the fact that Dru has a young Stafford was another reason I asked myself over!!
Every kid deserves a Stafford:)

And a Saint Bernard too maybe!!

Thanks Dru and Gracie and Norman and Esme and Gertie and Neville and Wayne and Trevor for a fun afternoon!

Katie - What gorgeous photos of a stunning family. Well done! Now, when are you coming to QLD? ;)

Ruth[less] - Thanks mate :) I've never been to Brissie, I'll have to make the trek someday!

Lofty - Great photos. Can't wait for the Neville shoot, that cat is the coolest.

disorder - Wow, I love this set of photos..
The squishy cat face ones made me smile : )

Kim - Really beautiful Ruthie. x

Ruth[less] - Thanks guys :)
