52 Weeks of Chopper

I’ve been participating in a group on Flickr called 52 Weeks for Dogs. The idea is to take a picture of your dog once a week for a year. I joined about seven weeks ago and I’ve already missed two weeks, but I’m going to endeavour not to fall behind again! It’s a really good way to force me to pick up the camera at least once a week and come up with different ways to capture the same subject. Here’s my photos from the group so far.

GW - I love your photos, especially those of Chopper. The one of him in the corner just slays me, and I like the one of him smiling in the grass.

Meg, Tank and Floyd

Myself and Dave went to Cairns last weekend for our birthdays. We had a great time relaxing, sightseeing and hanging out with our friends Kim and Shotty. They’ve got three dogs, Meg a 12yo Lab x Cattle, Floyd a 12yo small white fluffy [SWF] and Tank a 4yo SWF. I’ve never been into fluffies, but these two won me over! They’re great little characters and only a tiny bit yappy!

Meg – the ball and food obsessed one!

Meg reminds me of Chopper. She’s constantly on the go. The fact that she’s still like that at 12 years of age really worried me though. I was hoping Chopper would calm down as he matured!!

Floyd – the cute biker chick!

Shotty takes her for motorbike rides. She has her own leather jacket and doggles, very cute:)This is her party piece, she can sit like this for hours!

Tank – the man of the house!

He loves his bean bag!!

Charlotte Reeves - What a great pack! Love the last photo, white dog on black, gorgeous.

Kim - I wish I had of bleached his moustache now! (Tank's mum)
Love the photos Ruthie, you're a talent!

Ruth[less] - Thanks!

Furia’s not a puppy any more!

I wanted to grab a couple of photos of Furia when I was at the Schutzhund Trial. I had to battle with bad light and heaps of distractions, but I managed to get a couple of nice ones. Look how big she is now!!
